Renewable Energy Alaska Project

The Renewable Energy Alaska Project (REAP) was formed in 2004 by attorney Chris Rose of Sutton, Alaska.

REAP's stated mission is to facilitate the increased development of renewable energy in Alaska through collaboration, education/training, and advocacy. The organization is a coalition of small and large electric utilities and utility interests, environmental groups, consumer groups, businesses, and Alaska Native interests.

SES members helped REAP in organizing Alaska's first-ever renewable energy fair in August 2005.
