Located about 10 miles east of Whittier on Passage Canal, Logging Camp Bay is a parcel of land owned by UA Land Management. Lots for fishing cabins and summer homes will be sold to private owners in the future. An unnamed creek near the proposed home sites offers promise as a microhydro power source. A streamflow measurement of this site was made by SES in June 2005, and the site was judged to be promising. More streamflow measurements and other environmental data need to be collected in the near future.
